The Philosophy
Umzu’s core thesis : our bodies are made up of a network of intricate systems that create balance when we support them with the right micronutrients. But when imbalance strikes in one system, it creates a cascading effect across the others.






The Challenge
Make their complex philosophy digestible and compelling to consumers. We developed a strategy and visual identity around the notion of “Built to Thrive,” championing the idea that wellness lives at the intersection of nature and science.



The System
Through utilizing a system of pattern-based illustrations that represented individual systems in the body, we were able to create brand cohesion and unify the product portfolio across a master system that easily allows for product segmentation and increased shopability.
